Brothers, you're not a victim. Hi. I'm Jay Cookeham, and this is A Man a Moment.
Men, pain doesn't mean you're cursed.
It means you're being refined.
When hardship hits, the challenge comes often in the form of this question, why me?
But I've learned to flip the question to why not me?
I'm not a victim. I'm a son.
Suffering happens to everyone, but it doesn't define you unless you let it define you.
Let it refine you instead.
Let it forge deeper trust in God. He's not punishing you. He's shaping you into the man that you were meant to be.
Sons are not victims, and we can let pain refine us instead of define us.
