Speaker 1

Hey, everyone. Pastor Sean here, and I wanna thank you for subscribing to our podcast. I'm excited to get into today's message. And remember this, God is a good God. He loves you, and he wants to bless you.

Speaker 2

Do me a favor. I want you to turn with me this morning. I wanna jump right into the word. I wanna go to second Kings chapter two.

Speaker 2

I wanna look at a passage in second Kings chapter two. You can rest your eyes starting on verse 19. Second Kings chapter two. We'll put our eyes starting on verse 19.

Speaker 2

Again, if you're here with us today, we're so glad. For the first time, we're so glad that that you'd be with us. And those that are watching online, we welcome you. We're so glad that you're connected with us. I declare the abundant life to fill the room wherever you're watching from today. And as we have been in these last couple of weeks, if you're here for the first time, these last couple weeks we've been in a series that we've titled seeds. Somebody say seeds.

Speaker 2

Seeds. Now before I read second Kings, I just wanna preface with this, that everything in a life begins with a seed.

Speaker 2

Everything in life begins with a seed. The definition of seed is carrier of life.

Speaker 2

A seed is a carrier of life. So, inside of every seed is life. If you want to have an apple tree, you're gonna plant a apple seed, because the potential for that apple tree is housed inside of that seed. So, if you want to pick apples from a branch, you better get some seed into the ground. Everything in life begins with a seed. I used this illustration last week. It's one that my father has given over the years in teaching on this subject. But I want to do this just for the sake of the exercise in the room. Everybody take a breath. Just take another breath on top of it.

Speaker 2

Take another one on top of that. Some of are like pastor, I can't take anymore.

Speaker 2

Let out your breath. I'm not gonna do you wrong. Let that breath out. Here's here's the point. The point is this, is that you can't take another breath till you give up the one that you got. Your life is rooted in sowing and reaping.

Speaker 2

We talked about the fact that the Bible tells us that in in the God or in third John, that in in in the gospel, or excuse me, in third John, it says this that John's writing and he says that, I pray that you would be prosperous in all things, be in good health even as your soul prospers.

Speaker 2

Now, pastor Aaron was up there saying that it's important to understand the word prosperity is a good word. It is a God word.

Speaker 2

Now, understand unfortunately, you got a bunch of bozos that don't know how to teach the word of God accurately, so they lead you to believe that prosperity is one thing. It has been misused. It has been abused in the body of Christ, and so now the very thing that God has given us to grow, to thrive, to increase in, we're saying no, we shouldn't do that. We shouldn't touch that. Meanwhile, outside of the church, we believe that we should prosper. You don't believe that? Don't go to work tomorrow.

Speaker 2

You need a paycheck at the end of the week to cover those bills.

Speaker 2

But many of us, we don't want to live our life paycheck to paycheck.

Speaker 2

We want to have more than enough, because some of us, we want to be able to make sure that our kids have college funds, or that we've got investments, or things that we want to do in life when we retire. Don't tell me you don't want to prosper.

Speaker 2

Prosperity is woven into your DNA because the word prosper means to grow. You don't want to grow? Try and stop aging. You can't stop aging. You're gonna turn whatever you're gonna turn next whether you like it or not. Prosperity's in your DNA.

Speaker 2

I'm preaching better than you're responding right now. You all are looking at me. We just came to get water baptized and we invited our friends and so we don't wanna get too excited right now.

Speaker 2

Pastor, don't go there.

Speaker 2

Because if we have any hopes of them coming back next week, relax.

Speaker 2

Don't get all puckered up. I wanna try and bring you a truth right now.

Speaker 2

What kind of pastor is this? I'm a pastor that wants to see people walk in purpose and destiny. Why is it that the world can thrive and increase and call all the shots, but the church is sitting here just licking our wounds wondering how are we gonna get by? No. The church of the Lord Jesus Christ is called to pave the way.

Speaker 2

Your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. The church needs to advance and increase because we were the ones that the Lord has called and ordained to be the shot callers.

Speaker 2

Am I talking to anybody this morning? I haven't even gotten to second kings yet. I'm just wetting the whistle right now.

Speaker 2

Prosperity is a good thing. It's a God thing. God wants you to prosper in your health is what the bible says in third John. He says, in your soul and in your health, from your heart to your hand, in your family, and in your future, in everything that you put your hand to. God wants you to prosper.

Speaker 2

Man, God wants your health to be great.

Speaker 2

God wants your mind to be great.

Speaker 2

God wants your marriage to be great. God wants your children to be great. God wants you to prosper. Somebody say in all things. In all things.

Speaker 2

But to prosper, to grow, to have increase, it requires seed.

Speaker 2

And what you sow is what you will reap. Now, for the purpose of today to stay focused on what I wanna get into, I wanna just bring our attention to this. I can put seed into the ground, and I can desire growth in an apple tree or whatever fruit tree that I want to come forth. But here's the deal guys, I can put all the seed in the ground, but seed without water will not actually allow there to be anything to prosper.

Speaker 2

And I wanna talk to you today about water.

Speaker 2

The last several weeks, we talked about seed, we talked about soil.

Speaker 2

But I'm gonna say this up front, I'm gonna steal my own thunder right now, is that the difference between your potential concealed and your potential revealed comes down to the water.

Speaker 2

And some of you guys, it's been a long time since you have gotten wet with the water of his word.

Speaker 2

But I'm here to tell you today, you get a little water on you, and some things that God's placed inside of you will begin to grow. For there is greatness inside of you. There is seeds of potential inside of you, and God wants those good things to come to pass. Are you at second Kings this morning?

Speaker 2

I'm telling you, I just I feel the anointing strong today. Do you have expectation?

Speaker 2

Come on. Do you have expectation?

Speaker 2

Has anybody got some faith you wanna see God do some things in your life? Are there some things you're believing for? Some things that you want to see God bring to pass? Some good fruit that you're saying, I'm no longer gonna have seed dormancy.

Speaker 2

I want to see this fruit come alive in my life.

Speaker 2

Alright, let's put our attention on this. The Bible says, this is second Kings chapter two starting in verse 19.

Speaker 2

It says that then the men of the city said to Elisha, please notice the situation of this city is pleasant, as my Lord sees, but the water is bad and the ground is barren.

Speaker 2

And he said, bring me a new bowl and put salt in it.

Speaker 2

So they brought it to him.

Speaker 2

Verse 21 says, then when they went out to the source of the water and cast the salt in there, and he said, thus says the Lord, I have healed the water from it, and there shall be no more death or barrenness.

Speaker 2

There shall be no more death or barrenness. I'm gonna say that one more time. There shall be no more death or barrenness.

Speaker 2

So the water remains healed to this day.

Speaker 2

The water remains healed to this day according to the word of Elisha which he spoke. And the word that Elisha spoke was the word of the Lord. When he spoke the word of the Lord and took action, the water was healed and there was no more death or barrenness.

Speaker 2

Now, I want you to see something real quick here, because the Bible says that the men came to Elisha the prophet, and they said to him, look, the city is pleasant.

Speaker 2

However, the water is bad, and the ground or the land is barren.

Speaker 2

I want to just point out something, that just because something looks good above the surface doesn't mean that it's healthy beneath the surface. He said, it looks pleasant, the city. The potential is there, but the water is bad.

Speaker 2

The land is barren, which means the seed is buried because the difference between something planted and something buried comes down to the water.

Speaker 2

And when water gets on the seed, it no longer allows it to be potential concealed, but the water causes the seed to now germinate, take root, and begin to thrive so that its potential revealed.

Speaker 2

And what was pleasant was the fruit of an old season, but now the people are complaining because we're concerned that there might not be fruit in an upcoming season.

Speaker 2

So, some of you that's been resting on the success of what was, don't get too comfortable because you've to plant new seed for what is to come.

Speaker 2

Back in the day whenever there was those gladiator fights, whenever a gladiator would win the fight, they would rest around their head a crown of leaves that was called laurels. Whenever they would crown the winning gladiator with laurels, they would whisper in their ear, don't get comfortable.

Speaker 2

Why is that don't rest on your laurels was the actual term? Don't rest in this moment. You know why? Because you're going to have to enter back into the arena again.

Speaker 2

You're gonna have to do it again.

Speaker 2

And some of us, we've sowed seed, but we never allowed water to get on the seed, so we never saw the fruit. And we got discouraged when we didn't see the fruit, so we're not willing to sow again. Meanwhile, we're looking at what everybody else has got going on, and we're getting frustrated.

Speaker 2

But the word of the Lord is simply this. I know the water might be bad. I know the land might be barren, but the word of the Lord, the water of the word will begin to renew the seed that's in the ground. So, everything that God has spoken over your life shall come to pass. This is a word for those that have been in a season of discouragement right now. You've been in a season of despair right now. You're feeling like what is it worth to continue to sow my time into this thing? To sow my efforts into this thing? To give of myself to this thing? I haven't seen God show up yet, and it's not a matter of God showing up. It's a matter of you getting wet with the water of the Word.

Speaker 2

You understand when you're water baptized, it's a symbolic act that when the water gets on you, that everything that's inside of the sea begins to be released so that great things can come forth.

Speaker 2

As I was reading this text, I woke up this morning and I caught a thought.

Speaker 2

I love catching a thought. It's something that gets me excited. In fact, it might be the juice in the tank right now. It's probably why I'm so fervent in speech.

Speaker 2

Now I can't explain everything because I don't know everything.

Speaker 2

But I know this is all throughout your Bible, there's a lot of talk about water.

Speaker 2

Water is in every book of the Bible.

Speaker 2

Now I'm not gonna take you through every book, but it's important to understand there is something when it comes to the water.

Speaker 2

In fact, your Bible opens up and it says that the Holy Spirit hovered over water in the face of the deep.

Speaker 2

The Bible says that in Genesis one verse six that God separated the heavens from the earth, and what He did was He held the heavens by water.

Speaker 2

The Bible says that He separated water from dry from dry ground, which means that the earth is sustained in water.

Speaker 2

The Bible tells us that God formed man from the dust of the ground, from the dirt of the ground. You ever wondered how dirt becomes dirt?

Speaker 2

Dirt is hardened rock that when water and wind hit it, it breaks it up. So, the dust of the ground or the dirt of the ground is filled with water. You were created out of water. You don't believe that? Check this out. Your body is made up of 60% water.

Speaker 2

Your brain in your heart, 74%.

Speaker 2

Your skin, 64% water.

Speaker 2

Your lungs is 63 water. Your bones have got 31% water. You are made with water. It's interesting because you can go forty days without food, but you can't go three to five days without water.

Speaker 2

There is a thirst that is for it. Why? Because you crave the very thing that you were created from.

Speaker 2

You are what you drink.

Speaker 2

Water desires water. Word desires words. Spirit desires spirit. Your Creator desires creation.

Speaker 2

Whatever you are of is what you go back to.

Speaker 2

Water is all throughout the Bible.

Speaker 2

God saved Noah by water, and He sunk all of those that opposed and that were ungodly with water.

Speaker 2

And water creates death and life.

Speaker 2

Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob dug wells to grab water in a time when there was famine, and there should have never been water.

Speaker 2

Moses was drawn out of water.

Speaker 2

The word Moses actually means to be drawn out.

Speaker 2

And Moses was a leader, which means God is drawing leaders from water.

Speaker 2

And if you were created in water, that means that God has called you to lead a generation, to lead your family, to lead the the the culture and the economy and everywhere that you step foot. God is drawing the people of God out to be a leader of this generation right now. God

Speaker 2

saved the Israelites when He parted the seas which was water.

Speaker 2

This is fascinating stuff. I I'm I'm sitting here and I'm thinking, my goodness, water's everywhere. God told Moses, why I need you to strike the rock and let water come out of the rock.

Speaker 2

Isn't that amazing? What what is a rock spitting out water for? Let me tell you, it's a type and shadow because Jesus is the bedrock. He is the foundation of all things. And if in Him, He is the way, the truth, and the life, why would not water be springing out from the very thing that we are founded upon?

Speaker 2

The woman at the well was thirsty and Jesus says you can drink from that and you'll thirst again, but drink from Me and you'll thirst no more. Water.

Speaker 2

Water's everywhere in the Bible.

Speaker 2

David drew his five stones from water.

Speaker 2

Nahum dipped seven times in the water and was healed.

Speaker 2

Elijah shut up the heavens and opened them so that it would release water.

Speaker 2

Water is everywhere throughout the Bible.

Speaker 2

Jesus' first miracle was water into wine.

Speaker 2

When He speaks, His voice is the sound of water.

Speaker 2

When the enemy comes in like a flood water, I'm gonna raise up a standard.

Speaker 2

You're like, okay pastor, you got me now. I wanna know more about this water thing.

Speaker 2

When Jesus was on the cross, they pierced His side and what flow flowed out of His body?

Speaker 2

Blood and?

Speaker 2

Something about the water, guys. There is something about the water.

Speaker 2

I'm telling you, there is something about the water. Some of y'all need to get wet with the water again. Some of you gotta understand this. And if you're taking notes, write this down. Water is life.

Speaker 2

Water is life.

Speaker 2

Water is not just to be on you. Water is also what is flowing in you. For out of the belly, it will flow rivers of living water is what it says in John's Gospel chapter seven.

Speaker 2

Water is the indicator that blessing is on your life.

Speaker 2

Deuteronomy 28.

Speaker 2

I want you to see this verse 12.

Speaker 2

This was our word of the Lord that we shared last year for 2025.

Speaker 2

And the last couple of weeks, the Lord's been stirring up my heart to go back into Deuteronomy 28 and to read this and and just been stirring some things up inside of me on this. Because the Bible says, Deuteronomy 28 and verse 12, it says, see if I would not open to you the good treasure, the heavens, His heavens, to send rain to your land. Someone say my land. My land.

Speaker 2

The Bible says that I will send rain to your land, which means it's my land, it's it's it's possession, it's possessive, to my land in its season.

Speaker 2

Now entertain me just for a second here.

Speaker 2

Because before we get to verse 12, in verses one and two of the same chapter, it opens up and it says this. Those who are diligent to obey the voice of the Lord, the word of the Lord, and careful to observe His command.

Speaker 2

God says to Moses, tell the people see if I would not raise them high above all other nations.

Speaker 2

What that simply means is this, is that the godly will exceed the ungodly.

Speaker 2

The godly will rise up for when the righteous are in authority, people rejoice.

Speaker 2

I will separate the godly from the un godly.

Speaker 2

And he says, and I will bless the work of their hands. I wanna tell you today, God wants to bless the work of your hands. Have you ever been in a situation that you were just working on something and you're like, I just I can't figure this thing out. I'm the worst at assembling things, by the way. Don't ask me to build a bike for my kids. I would rather pay someone a little extra to get it done at Christmas.

Speaker 2

If I build a bike, I'm liable to put the brakes on backwards. I'm liable to put on the handles on back. I I ain't the guy. I'm not good with that. Every time I run into a wall trying to build something, I have to find a video on it. That's what my wife tells me. I have to find something somehow some way to figure this thing out. I feel like I'm never blessed building things.

Speaker 2

Now, say that jokingly, but have you been in a season? Or are you in a season that you just feel like man, I'm frustrated every time I do this? I can't figure this thing out. It's just not working. Every time that I try to put my, myself into this situation, it's not operating in my favor.

Speaker 2

Anybody need another measure of favor?

Speaker 2

Anybody need another measure where you're just like man, you feel like you've got the force of heaven behind you? You've got the wind of heaven at your sails, and you're moving into that thing and it feels so easy.

Speaker 2

When the blessing of God comes upon your life, it means that whatever you're doing is designed to work. Blessing is not a Christian y salutation or a greeting. How are you? Blessed. No.

Speaker 2

I am. But no, that's not the definition.

Speaker 2

Blessed is that everything I put my hand to. If you're a student in school, it means that you are just soaring right through that school. You're crushing it because God's given you the wisdom and the understanding to figure this thing out. If you're developing a trade, it's because God's given you favor to really define and develop that gift. Whatever it is, there's a blessing on your life. If you're starting a business, if you're starting a family, man, you're a blessing just walking with God, knowing that you just feel the presence of the Lord at all points. How about that for a wind mitigation?

Speaker 2

God's with you at all points because the Holy Spirit is in you and is on you and is with you because God is a good God.

Speaker 2

Y'all, I am preaching better than you're responding. Don't make me go all the way to the back.

Speaker 2

I'm well outside the camera zones right now. They don't like it when I do this.

Speaker 2

Pastor, we're pulling you back.

Speaker 2

So the Bible says,

Speaker 2

see if I would not open to you the heavens, God's good treasure, to send rain to the land in your season.

Speaker 2

So the rain that God has is to come upon your land.

Speaker 2

You define your land, your family, your walk with the Lord, the land of your mind, how your your thought. I I want I want God's blessing at every area of my life on my life.

Speaker 2

He says, I'll send rain to the land, ready, in its season.

Speaker 2

Now can I tell you something?

Speaker 2

There's a difference between your season and God's season.

Speaker 2

He said, I'll send rain to your land and it's season.

Speaker 2

So if you wanna operate off of four seasons of the year, more power to you, happy for you, that's great. If you wanna operate in God's season, which God does not operate on four seasons of the year, God's season is called obedience.

Speaker 2

God's season is obedience. And those who are willing and obedient to the word of the Lord shall eat of the good of the land. Those who are willing and obedient, you gotta be willing. You can't just do it because I feel like I was forced into it. No. God wants you to have a willing heart and to be obedient to His word and His word according to Isaiah 55 will prosper where into he send it. For he says this, that the word is like the rain in the snow that comes from heaven, and it cannot return back to where it was. But as it waters the earth and as it brings forth bud, I shall give seed to the sower, bread to the eater, so shall my word be.

Speaker 2

Wherever it goes, it will prosper.

Speaker 2

So if I wanna see God's encounter my season, I better start becoming obedient to his word. Some of y'all know that God's been knocking on the door of your heart, but you're not all in. You're one foot in on Sunday, but when Monday turns around, you're back into the mess that you just came out of. But God's saying be two feet in.

Speaker 2

Be all in that water, and let me bring forth every blessing and every good thing that I have for your life.

Speaker 2

Something about the water.

Speaker 2

But it comes down to me being obedient, because obedience puts me on now God's season. I wanna be on God's season.

Speaker 2

I want to be on God's season.

Speaker 2

Psalm 65 tells us this, that the Lord waters the earth and He greatly enriches it.

Speaker 2

The Bible says that He crowns the year with goodness, and His past they drip with abundance. Our God has got more than enough.

Speaker 2

I don't want God just to fill me up a little bit. Top me off, Lord. No overflowing me. Why would you tell me to sit at a table that you've prepared for me and my cup not overflow when you said your cup will overflow?

Speaker 2

It runneth over.

Speaker 2

I want more than enough.

Speaker 2

I want more than enough patience for my kids.

Speaker 2

I want more than enough endurance to run the race that God has me. I want more than enough finances to be able to support the work of the Gospel so that the world can know the Gospel. Somebody say more than enough. The Bible says that his paths drip with abundance. That means God is just soaking wet.

Speaker 2

You ever you you ever gone swimming and you go inside and and you didn't dry off and you're you're all soaking wet? You're like, I didn't even I didn't even know that these shorts could absorb so much water. That's like my son. I'm like, brother, stop.

Speaker 2

I know exactly where you've been in the house. Like, I just see these giant wet feet all over dripping wet.

Speaker 2

When God shows up, man, He's dripping wet, watering everything that He touches.

Speaker 2

Oh, God, water our hearts today so that the implanted Word can bear the 30 to 60, but I'm in it for the 100. God, water me today.

Speaker 2

I want the drip of heaven on my life.

Speaker 2

God, give me that spiritual IV.

Speaker 2

Hook me up, because I want to be fresh and flourishing in every area.

Speaker 2

This is what happens when you open up with water baptisms, pastor.

Speaker 2

You glad you came to church today?

Speaker 2

What did they give that guy before he came out?

Speaker 2

Shot of espresso and the Holy Ghost. I

Speaker 2

love Jesus, guys. I love the goodness of the Lord. I'm telling you, I wouldn't be where I'm at today if it wasn't for the goodness of God.

Speaker 2

I shared this testimony, and I've shared it in the church, but recently I got to share it with pastor Chad because he didn't know my testimony about when I was younger and when I was 19.

Speaker 2

I I had a season where I went off and lived in Costa Rica for four months.

Speaker 2

Now, the back story on it was this, is that growing up in the church, it's kinda like life was a glass house. Everybody is looking at you at all times. And I felt the pressure and the weight of having to try and be something.

Speaker 2

And at one point in my life, I really felt the call of God for ministry. And and along the way as as I was starting to pursue that, there was a gentleman who's no longer in our church anymore.

Speaker 2

And and he came to me and he said, you know Sean, you know I see how involved you are in the ministry.

Speaker 2

And at that time, I was very involved in youth ministry. And he said, you know, if you could be half the man your father or your grandfather is, you might be successful in ministry.

Speaker 2

Now, didn't mean that negatively.

Speaker 2

His heart was this, I truly honor your grandfather and your father. Man, if you just get a little a little a little taste of that, get a little wet with that, man, you're gonna be great.

Speaker 2

His in his heart was right. His application was wrong in how he said it. I took it negatively and I felt like I had to be somebody that I wasn't. So, I ran and I said I'm I'm not doing this. And so, did I run? Yes, did. I moved to another country.

Speaker 2

I was like the story of the lost son and prodigal living. I took all that I had. I went over there and I wasted it and I lived it up and I did everything that I wanted to do.

Speaker 2

And here's the thing, is that those resources that I had going over there, the money my parents gave me to go over there, I wasted it. I had no more fruit. And here I am, I'm in a place my life is barren just like the story that I read.

Speaker 2

My life was not in a good place.

Speaker 2

And, I was empty and I was broken.

Speaker 2

But, one morning I had an encounter with the Lord to the point where I felt like I had like two football players holding me down in my bed and I couldn't get out of my bed. I'm like, what is going on? After a half hour of wrestling, I became out of that and I went into the shower because where I was we didn't have AC and it was hot and I was sweaty. And and I got into the shower and all of a sudden the water began to pour on me. Something about the water guys.

Speaker 2

And all of a sudden, my eyes start to get a little blurry and my ears started to to to to to become faint. My hearing felt like I I I was losing my hearing and my sight. And then all of a sudden, I just felt this chill go down my body and I knew exactly what it was. It wasn't a moment that I was scared.

Speaker 2

It was a moment that I felt the presence of the Lord and His love.

Speaker 2

And in that moment, my eyes opened up just enough for me to see this necklace that I had put around my neck. And at the end of the necklace was a cross. And as I looked at the cross, it reminded me of the love of God.

Speaker 2

And God said, Sean, wherever you go, I'll be with you. Wherever you are, I am with you. I'm not gonna leave you. I'm not gonna forsake you. If you wanna stay here, that's fine.

Speaker 2

But I'm telling you, I'm calling you to go back home because that is the ground. That is the land where good fruit is gonna come forth out of your life.

Speaker 2

It's interesting. The symbolic water of a shower representing the water of God's word on my life reminding me of my call. Here's the point of the story. It was this. I spent everything that I had. I had a $180 left. How am I gonna buy a plane ticket on a $180?

Speaker 2

Man, we didn't have Frontier Airlines back then. There was no Allegiant back then. There was no Airbus.

Speaker 2

And so, what I did was I went into my suitcase. I had this little pocket and I had a $180.

Speaker 2

I kept 80 back on the side because I said, well, I gotta be able to buy food. And I took a $100 out and I went to the closest church into a church service. And I said I'm gonna sow good seed into the kingdom of God because I need God's season right now. And the Lord told me, Sean, you'll be home in four days.

Speaker 2

Lord, your season better accelerate.

Speaker 2

So, what I'm telling you, I'm not telling you because it sounds good. I'm telling you because I've lived this life. I've seen open heavens and the rain on my land in its season produce what it needed to produce in real time. Time compression.

Speaker 2

And so, here I am. I go into this service and I and I sold this financial offering. And I just said, Lord, this is all that I have that that is my best that I can give to You.

Speaker 2

And I laid it down at the altar. And the next day, I went in to this cafe because I knew this owner. And I owned a car, and I had an apartment fully furnished. And I told the owner of the cafe, I said, listen ma'am, can I put all the stuff that I own on a piece of paper, and if any customers come in and they're interested and they wanna buy it, they can reach out? She said, sure. We were friends. She made that happen for me. I get a phone call that afternoon.

Speaker 2

And that afternoon, I get this call from this gentleman that says, hey, I heard that you had this SUV, this vehicle.

Speaker 2

He said, I'm interested in buying it. Come on, Lord. Let's do it, Jesus.

Speaker 2

I like that.

Speaker 2

And so I said, sure. I said, do wanna come over and check it out? He said, listen, I'm tied up right now. I can check it out tomorrow.

Speaker 2

Tick tock. Tick tock. Lord, you gave me this word on a Friday.

Speaker 2

This gentleman's calling me on a Saturday. He can't look at this vehicle on a Sunday to make sure it's legit, and I'm not ripping them off. So, Sunday rolls around, and he says, hey man, I got tied up with another engagement. I can't make it out. Can we get together on Monday? Oh, brother, the the God? That

Speaker 2

was my that was what I did.

Speaker 2

God?

Speaker 2

He comes in the next day. He checks out the car. He says, man, like this car. This is good. This is great.

Speaker 2

A little more context.

Speaker 2

Before I moved out there, my parents had given me $6,000 to kind of like move out there and do, you know, they didn't know I was being wild.

Speaker 2

They thought I was going to go get an education.

Speaker 2

I'm looking at some of y'all college students right now.

Speaker 2

Yeah. You're gonna go get an you better get an education.

Speaker 2

So they give me $6,000.

Speaker 2

Right? I'm out there.

Speaker 2

And this guy finally shows up. He checks out the car. He says, I like your vehicle, man. He said, can we go inside your apartment and talk business? I said, sure. I was happy to get a plane ticket.

Speaker 2

I would have settled right at a plane ticket. So I'm trying to talk because I'm like, the Lord's got me on a time clock, buddy. Let's talk business.

Speaker 2

Let's go, my friend.

Speaker 2

Right?

Speaker 2

So he he looks around my apartment and he says, man, he was like, I'm seeing all this stuff. He was like, you know, you told me that you were moving. Were gonna go back to The States. He said, what are gonna do with all your stuff? I said, I don't know. Can I just sell you my car so I can buy a plane ticket? Because the Lord said, I'm gonna be home tomorrow.

Speaker 2

So, looks around and he says, hey. He's like, can I buy everything in your apartment and your vehicle for $6,000?

Speaker 2

Why, yes you can, sir.

Speaker 2

See, if you would not open the good treasure in heaven to send rain to the land in its season, because the water is so that every seed that is sown can produce the good fruit that I desire that God has placed in my heart to come forth.

Speaker 2

And I booked a plane ticket and was home within the four days that the Lord spoke to me. Why? Because God prospers His Word where into He sends it.

Speaker 2

But you've got to have the water.

Speaker 2

And so, Bible says that God will water the earth. Let me bring it into real time.

Speaker 2

You are the earth that He is talking about.

Speaker 2

Because in Acts two seventeen, as the people were waiting in the upper in the upper room, what were they waiting on? The Holy Spirit to descend and come upon them and baptize them.

Speaker 2

What they were waiting on was the reign of Heaven to bring what was on the inside of them now on the outside of them. Because when Peter prophesied the book of Joel, he said, see in the last days if my spirit wouldn't be poured out. What are you pouring out, Joel? What are you pouring out, Peter? We're pouring out water.

Speaker 2

And so, the water is not just about what God wants to pour on you, but what He wants to pour out of you for the seeds that you're sowing in the areas of your life.

Speaker 2

Why do you think He said in John seven rivers of living water to flow out of you into that situation, into that circumstance, into that area?

Speaker 2

Did you know this?

Speaker 2

Is that, and this is not a modern technology, but they've just refined it over thousands and thousands of years.

Speaker 2

But you can steward water in such a way that when it fills up in a reservoir, that if you put motion to that water, it creates power and electricity.

Speaker 2

It's called hydropower.

Speaker 2

And so, there's many reservoirs, and there's many dams, and there's many bodies of water that have been built so that as the water gets stirred up it creates power.

Speaker 2

This is why the Bible says in Ephesians three verse 20 that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly and above all that you could ask or think according to what?

Speaker 2

The power that is at work with you. What is the power? It's the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 2

When the rain of heaven, when the Spirit of God floods you on the inside, it stirs you up so that power is released that when you step into the job, then you begin to speak the Word of God, it causes demons to flee, darkness to flee, that the Word of God is released.

Speaker 2

You're the power of God in your community. You're the power of God in your neighborhood. You're the power of God on the job. You're the power of God when it comes to your family. And what has been poured on the inside of you, God's waiting for you to release it on the outside of you.

Speaker 2

You wanna see your family transform. You wanna see our community transform. We wanna see South Florida transform.

Speaker 2

It's when I let the rain of Heaven get poured on me.

Speaker 2

But I gotta be the reservoir, the retainer, so that now I can bring it, and I can pour it where God wants me to water.

Speaker 2

Have you watered your seed?

Speaker 2

Have you watered your seed?

Speaker 2

Have you watered your seed?

Speaker 2

I'm a close this thing down because we've got over 50 people to baptize today.

Speaker 2

Am I helping somebody today?

Speaker 2

This this this this is helping you get some clarity.

Speaker 2

We can talk seed all we want.

Speaker 2

But seed without water, and it's just buried.

Speaker 2

And I want you to get planted.

Speaker 2

I said, I want you to get planted.

Speaker 2

I want you to get planted.

Speaker 2

The last couple weeks, I've really shared on what seed is and on what soil is. And you're both, by the way. You're both seed and soil.

Speaker 2

It's interchangeable.

Speaker 2

But for a second, I wanna put you back into the mindset of your life as a seed.

Speaker 2

Because seed is a carrier of life.

Speaker 2

It's what I said in the beginning.

Speaker 2

And inside of you, there is life, there is potential, there is greatness.

Speaker 2

But what releases the potential of what's on the inside is when the water comes on the outside.

Speaker 2

Now let me just share this.

Speaker 2

When water gets on a seed, it causes the seed coat to swell.

Speaker 2

Every seed has a coating around it that protects what's on the inside.

Speaker 2

But when water gets on that seed, that coat begins to swell and it makes the seed very uncomfortable.

Speaker 2

It's almost traumatic to the seed.

Speaker 2

To the point where the coat begins to crack and it breaks and it comes off.

Speaker 2

And only until the coat is fully removed from the seed, the seed actually is not planted.

Speaker 2

It's just buried.

Speaker 2

But the moment that the water begins to swell the coat and breaks the coat off, Now, the life that's in the seed is able to have its effect.

Speaker 2

When Jesus was water baptized, which can I clarify something?

Speaker 2

We have made water baptism almost this ritualistic religious thing and it's not that.

Speaker 2

And water baptism by the way is not just marking you a saint and no longer a sinner.

Speaker 2

Because Jesus had no sin and He was water baptized.

Speaker 2

So, what we do is we will in our mind reduce water baptism to just an outer new believer salvation experience.

Speaker 2

But when Jesus came out of the water was the moment the Holy Spirit came upon Him. So, the water from heaven is the empowerment, the anointing, the blessing upon your life so that now you can go and do what God's called you to do because his ministry didn't start till he came out of the water. He went into the water as Joseph's son, and he came out of the water as the son in whom the father was well pleased.

Speaker 2

My God.

Speaker 2

And the Bible says that Jesus was the incorruptible seed in which when He died and He gave His life and died, they put His body in a tomb, and His soul went and preached to the captives in Hades.

Speaker 2

But what raised Jesus from the dead was when the spirit of God came from heaven as the rain and resurrected His mortal body, because the same spirit that raises Christ from the dead is the same spirit that also lives in you. There's something about the water that when it gets on your life, everything that has been on the exterior is broken off.

Speaker 2

And for some, you've been through a season where there are things that are on you that you thought is who you are. You've allowed culture to become your coat.

Speaker 2

You've allowed negative thinking to become your coat. You've allowed traumatic past experiences to become your coat. You've allowed what people said about you to become your coat. But when you let the water of the Word and the Spirit of God come upon you, it breaks everything off so what God has on the inside can now begin manifest on the outside.

Speaker 2

But it's until you get wet and hear me when I say this because this is where most people be like, enough's enough.

Speaker 2

The water swells the seed which means that seed is uncomfortable.

Speaker 2

And in order for what God has for your life to come forth, you might have to go through something difficult and uncomfortable.

Speaker 2

You think it's comfortable for people to sit in this service wearing shorts and flippy floppies and then wait to get water baptized at the end of it? I know you all are feeling uncomfortable.

Speaker 2

Some

Speaker 2

of us were afraid, because when the water gets on us, it means things have to change.

Speaker 2

And I'm afraid that if I change, I'll no longer have the comfort of the coat that kept me cozy inside.

Speaker 2

But meanwhile, while I'm unwilling to change, I'm staying in the same place, doing the same thing, hanging with the same people, thinking the same thoughts, never actually moving from seed to success, from seed to fruit, from seed to greatness, from seed to the potential that God has, because I would rather just be comfortable where I am. Guys, you need to get some water on you because it's time that you move into a new season of your life. Do not find yourself in the same place doing the same thing a year from now. I charge you, get wet with the water. And
