Speaker 1
Hey, everyone. Pastor Sean here, and I wanna thank you for subscribing to our podcast. I'm excited to get into today's message. And remember this, God is a good God. He loves you, and he wants to bless you.
Speaker 2
Today, we we want to honor and celebrate the great work that is abundant life church. For forty nine years across three generations, they have actively expanded the kingdom of God and equipped the body of Christ for greater works.
Speaker 2
Under the covering and under the leadership of Pastor Sean and Aaron Thomas, a pursuit, I already had this written, has been renewed.
Speaker 2
Say renewal.
Speaker 2
Renewal. That pursuit is not to create a better facility for a visitation from God.
Speaker 2
More than that, the pursuit is to create a greater people that will function as a habitation of God.
Speaker 2
See, the kingdom, as kingdom minded people, we are not trying to build visitation centers for the Lord. We are trying to build a home for the Lord. But God does not live in a palace.
Speaker 2
He lives in his people.
Speaker 2
And with the time that I've spent with Pastor Sean and Pastor Aaron, constantly I'm hearing about how He wants to increase your capacity, that He wants to see the kingdom of heaven established on earth as it is in heaven.
Speaker 2
A bigger home for God looks like people with a greater capacity to accomplish the impossible.
Speaker 2
Amen? Today, we not only celebrate and honor the sacrifices of Bishop Woody and Sister Edith, Bishop Rick and Pastor Kathy, and Pastor Sean and Pastor Aaron.
Speaker 2
We not only honor the seeds of their life, they have had many a night that they have sown seeds in tears, but they have surely come back with a harvest in joy.
Speaker 2
We don't only celebrate the seed that they've sown, but we also celebrate the fruit that has come out of this church and ministry.
Speaker 2
The fruit of this work has been done by the Holy Spirit.
Speaker 2
We honor Pastor Sean and Pastor Aaron, not merely because of the position they hold, but because of the anointing they carry, and because of their investment, their spiritual investments that they make into each of our lives.
Speaker 2
Today is a day of celebration.
Speaker 2
We are celebrating the harvest of what forty nine years has brought so far.
Speaker 2
There is a harvest of countless souls, tens of thousands of hundreds of thousands of souls of salvations that have happened throughout this lifetime of this ministry.
Speaker 2
Healings have happened throughout the life of this ministry.
Speaker 2
Miracle debt cancellations have happened throughout the life of this ministry.
Speaker 2
Financial breakthroughs have happened throughout the life of this ministry.
Speaker 2
There has been generational shifts, generational changes.
Speaker 2
New legacy has been birthed because of what this church has done.
Speaker 2
But here's the thing.
Speaker 2
To just look at this and say we're remembering what happened without taking advantage of looking forward, we're missing something. See, it's one thing to say God used to do really wild miracles, or God used to heal people dramatically, or God used to bring financial breakthrough, or God used to have revivals take off across the nation.
Speaker 2
But to say that God used to do something, and now maybe He doesn't, maybe He will, maybe He won't, That is to deny the very identity and character and even the name of God.
Speaker 2
His name is the great I am. It's not the great I was.
Speaker 2
Our God is still healing.
Speaker 2
He is still delivering.
Speaker 2
He is still prospering His people. He is still bringing people out of the ash heap and setting them among princes with honor.
Speaker 2
Are you catching this? Today is also a day for your breakthrough.
Speaker 2
We remember what God has done, but we recognize what He is still doing.
Speaker 2
As we celebrate forty nine years, we look forward to that season of Jubilee that Pastor mentioned.
Speaker 2
We are standing, and I believe this in my spirit, Pastor confirmed it, we are standing at the threshold of a new season of miracles, signs, and wonders, and God showing out and showing up like He never has before.
Speaker 2
Are you... Oh, I thought...
Speaker 2
Okay, let me say it again, because I'm talking about you and what's happening right here. You are standing at the threshold of a new season of miracles, signs, and wonders.
Speaker 2
The God who did it before is going to do it again.
Speaker 2
See, salvation, it's free. It comes to us by Jesus Christ. Salvation comes to those that believe for it. But the kingdom, the kingdom comes to those that are seeking it.
Speaker 2
And I'm wondering, is there anyone here? Do we have any seekers that are here today? Okay, this side of the room has some seekers. Are there any seekers who are seeking His kingdom and His righteousness?
Speaker 2
When we seek His Kingdom and His righteousness, we have to ask what does His Kingdom look like?
Speaker 2
What does Heaven look like?
Speaker 2
Well, we know that in Heaven there's not going to be any sickness, disease, depression, anxiety, poverty, insufficiency.
Speaker 2
So, why are we putting up with that so much in our day to day here on earth? If we're seeking His kingdom, we are seeking to see not only that we are healed, but that those around us are healed. This church will become a lighthouse, a city on a hill that will not be hidden.
Speaker 2
Do you know why it's called a city on a hill?
Speaker 2
Because someone who's lost, they can look up and see the light from that city, and they can come into that same security and refuge.
Speaker 2
This will be a city on a hill like never before. I'm telling you, the next forty nine years, the latter will be greater than the former. If we are kingdom ambassadors, those that are seeking the kingdom, those that are ambassadors of the kingdom, why do we allow the world's quotas, the world's stereotypes to define us?
Speaker 2
The body of Christ has to have a renewal in their mind that we no longer accept the world's governmental predictions, the world's economic forecasts, the world's healthcare system, the world's solutions.
Speaker 2
No. We are in the world, but we are not of the world.
Speaker 2
The shift that is coming is going to be like light and dark, and people will be able to see these people are blessed by God. There is a God in Margate, Florida, and His name is Jesus.
Speaker 2
Say, Jason, but you don't understand the economy the way it is. They're running out of beef. There's a new plague in Russia.
Speaker 2
We don't... The gas prices are through the roof. Hold on. Every time we see in Scripture about difficulty that shows up in regards to famine, the Bible says famine fell on the land.
Speaker 2
It doesn't say famine fell on the man.
Speaker 2
See, famine might fall on the land, but it will not fall on the man or woman of God who is honoring God, living for God, and seeking His kingdom and His righteousness.
Speaker 2
The great I am is here today in Jesus' name.
Speaker 2
So, Jason, well, you don't know. Jesus said that we'll have trouble.
Speaker 2
He said we'd have trouble. He never said trouble would have you. He never said trouble would have you. Quit thinking that God is going to handle you the same way that He handles those that have rejected Him.
Speaker 2
You are favored by God. You are loved by God.
Speaker 2
You are set apart by God. You are a king and a priest in the earth.
Speaker 2
You are blessed to be a blessing. You are an ambassador of heaven.
Speaker 2
See, being an ambassador, that means you represent heaven.
Speaker 2
That's not something that happens once we go on to glory.
Speaker 2
It's something that is happening right now.
Speaker 2
You represent eternal life in the earth.
Speaker 2
You represent the healer of the nations in the earth.
Speaker 2
You represent the blessing of God in the earth.
Speaker 2
You represent the prosperity of God in the earth.
Speaker 2
A day is coming where people will look for solutions, not with tech brains on the other side of the nation, but they will begin to look for what are the people of God doing and what is God saying about the situation.
Speaker 2
I'm speaking something prophetically. I hope you're catching this.
Speaker 2
But
Speaker 2
the world's way of doing things completely dishonors and disregards the inheritance that you have access to.
Speaker 2
And because there is no honor for it, there is no access to it.
Speaker 2
Catch this. Anything you fail to recognize, anything you fail to honor will exit your life.
Speaker 2
Let's jump into Scripture.
Speaker 2
Your pastor said I can take several hours.
Speaker 2
I don't think they're going to lock the doors.
Speaker 2
Let's look at Mark chapter six.
Speaker 2
We're going to look at a moment where Jesus could do no mighty work.
Speaker 2
It says in verse one, Then He went out from there, and He came into His own country, and His disciples followed Him.
Speaker 2
And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue, and many hearing Him were astonished, saying, Where did this man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands? In the chapter before, He was raising the dead.
Speaker 2
In the chapter before, the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of His garment and was healed.
Speaker 2
He shows up in town, and they've got questions.
Speaker 2
Verse number three, Is this not the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, Hosea, Judas, and Simon?
Speaker 2
Are
Speaker 2
not His sisters here with us? So, they were offended at Him.
Speaker 2
But Jesus said to them, a prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.
Speaker 2
Now, he could do no mighty work there except laid hands on a few sick people and healed them.
Speaker 2
What you do not recognize and what you do not honor will begin to exit your life. Now, this is a powerful portion of Scripture, because it shows us that honor is a seed for access, that honor is an opportunity for your blessing.
Speaker 2
Here is Jesus.
Speaker 2
Nothing is impossible for our God.
Speaker 2
He's standing here, and he is unable to express the fullness of the anointing because there's people that didn't recognize Him, didn't want to hear Him, too familiar with Him.
Speaker 2
Don't ever get too familiar with the presence of God.
Speaker 2
The worship that we just had today, don't sit there and say, well, I've heard this song.
Speaker 2
No. Stay fresh before the Lord about the things of God.
Speaker 2
Stay in a place of honor, because honor creates access.
Speaker 2
Honor is a protocol for receiving from the Lord.
Speaker 2
Alright, let's keep going.
Speaker 2
There are two parts to the Gospel. Am I going too fast? There are two parts to the Gospel, and there are two realities that we live in.
Speaker 2
Two parts of the Gospel. There is the person of Jesus, He is our King.
Speaker 2
And there are the principles of Jesus, that is His Kingdom.
Speaker 2
The King is Jesus, that's our Savior.
Speaker 2
The principles, that's our system.
Speaker 2
Are you catching this? The Savior, Jesus, creates peace in our lives.
Speaker 2
But it's the system that God has given us, His kingdom system that will create and produce prosperity.
Speaker 2
And I don't just mean prosperity in your finances.
Speaker 2
If all you have is a lot of money, you don't have a whole lot.
Speaker 2
Prosperity and the blessing of God has to do with you being blessed in your finances, blessed in your family, blessed in your feelings, having victorious emotions, blessed in your relationships, blessed in your body.
Speaker 2
That's a picture of prosperity.
Speaker 2
Are you catching this? But the kingdom, that's all there. It's already been established and given to us in the kingdom.
Speaker 2
So, how do we pull it out of heaven and into our lives?
Speaker 2
Are you still here?
Speaker 2
There are two realities that we live in. We live as physical people here, but we also are in a spiritual dimension if we have been made new in Christ Jesus.
Speaker 2
If you have received Christ and you are born again, the Bible says that we are seated with Christ in heavenly places.
Speaker 2
Now if we got more focused on where we were in the spirit than where we were in the physical, we probably wouldn't complain as much.
Speaker 2
We wouldn't say all the doom and gloom news.
Speaker 2
We wouldn't be so concerned about the instability of the economy.
Speaker 2
But if we spent more time pressing in and pulling on that spiritual realm, everything in your world would change.
Speaker 2
There are... I'm serious.
Speaker 2
There are things, and I'm all for counseling, but there are things that you've been getting counseling for for fourteen years that with one touch from God everything would change.
Speaker 2
There's medication. I'm not against medication, but there are medications people have been on for ten, twenty years that one touch from God would break that thing loose.
Speaker 2
There are addictions that people have struggled with for year upon year, year after year after year, and one touch from God, coming to God, honoring God in the way that He desires to be honored, getting in His system will bring breakthrough into our life. Jesus gives us eternal life, but His kingdom systems, that helps us with our life here and now.
Speaker 2
Oh, my goodness. Are you getting this?
Speaker 2
Honor is a protocol for access.
Speaker 2
How do we access the kingdom blessings and benefits as much as we can here and now? Well, honor has everything to do with it. Now, I've been all through scripture looking at honor. That was on my heart this week.
Speaker 2
I've seen that honor is a seed, honor is a principle, honor is a language, honor is a culture.
Speaker 2
All through the Bible, God interacts with humanity through a place of honor.
Speaker 2
And where there is no honor, the anointing is limited.
Speaker 2
Where people cannot see what God is doing in you, if we just look at people and we see the outside shell, and we don't recognize what God is doing in them, it limits their ability to be able to bless us and speak into our life.
Speaker 2
Are you catching this? Now, I look at narratives in the Bible around honor.
Speaker 2
It's a lot of teaching, but we're going to move quick.
Speaker 2
I see this big mega narrative, this big picture of the way God interacts with His people.
Speaker 2
And all through the way He interacts, it's all based on honor.
Speaker 2
Even the 10 Commandments are all about honor.
Speaker 2
The first four are about honoring God. The next six are about honoring others.
Speaker 2
So we have this mega narrative of God saying that He desires our relationship to be based around honor.
Speaker 2
Then we also have this micro narrative, where we see that God is continually partnering with people in order to see honor go throughout the kingdom. Let me say it like this.
Speaker 2
Adam in Genesis, Adam is given the garden, and he is told to have dominion.
Speaker 2
God creates him, and He says, you are an extension of My kingdom here on earth. I want you to rule it, be fruitful, multiply, have dominion over the earth. Then he says this. By the way, there's going to be an aspect of honor here. He says, you can partake and eat of anything you want except this one tree.
Speaker 2
He said, Of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you will not eat.
Speaker 2
Those rules set a place of honor. And as soon as Adam and Eve dishonored God and partook of that fruit.
Speaker 2
The earth quit honoring them.
Speaker 2
The Bible says that thorns came up. Everything changed.
Speaker 2
But over and over again, God continues to partner with people all through the Old Testament, whether it was through prophets, kings, different people. He would partner with them. And if people listened to the voice of Elijah or listened to the voice of Moses, if they would honor the prophet that was speaking to them, they would receive blessing of God on their life.
Speaker 2
And we now have Jesus Christ who has come. He's given us new life, and He's given us this five fold ministry: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.
Speaker 2
And with these, we have an opportunity yet again to honor.
Speaker 2
And we cannot receive from those that we do not honor. Oh, I hope you're catching this. I hope you're catching this.
Speaker 2
I think it's interesting, and normally we always stop in Mark chapter six right with that verse that I ended on, verse five, that says, He could not do many works. No mighty works there.
Speaker 2
But then I began to look at what about the people that were honoring Him throughout the rest of that chapter?
Speaker 2
Those that honored Jesus were the disciples. They came with Him into that town. They kept honoring Him. And when Jesus left, we see some of the fruit of that honor.
Speaker 2
See, God so believes in partnering with mankind that He sent Jesus. He came in the flesh to have a man of God in the earth.
Speaker 2
And whenever they honored Him, we see some things pour out. One thing that pours out right after He leaves Nazareth is that evangelism takes off.
Speaker 2
It says that He sent them out two by two.
Speaker 2
And He said, if they dishonor you in the city, knock the dust off your feet.
Speaker 2
They went out. Because they honored the man of God, evangelism exploded in that area. Because they honored God, the next thing that happens is they get to a point where they don't have any food. This is where God multiplies the bread and the fish.
Speaker 2
There is multiplication of resources that will come into your life whenever you honor the person that God is speaking through.
Speaker 2
Are you catching this? And even Jesus Himself, when He received those five loaves and the two fish, first thing He did was He thanked God. He honored God with it. Whatever we honor God with, God will multiply.
Speaker 2
Honor is a protocol.
Speaker 2
It's an access point.
Speaker 2
Honor is an umbrella that everything else in the kingdom operates in and out of.
Speaker 2
So, we have this umbrella of honor, but then we've also been given keys, keys that will unlock doors.
Speaker 2
And you understand the kingdom because we're here at Abundant Life Church.
Speaker 2
The kingdom operates according to seed time and harvest.
Speaker 2
So, we have a Bible that tells us we've been given every spiritual blessing in heavenly places, that God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, that praise be to God who always causes us to triumph. The Bible says that we're healed whole and healthy. We have all of these blessings that are sitting there in the invisible realm. How do we pull it into the physical? I'm glad you asked.
Speaker 2
God gave us, in Genesis chapter eight verse 22, He gave us the formula.
Speaker 2
He said, as long as the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, summer, winter, cold and heat, day and night, shall not cease.
Speaker 2
He tells us these cycles are in the earth. Now, even when we look at this in the natural, we are seeing something supernatural.
Speaker 2
I'm like you. I keep seeds in my Bible.
Speaker 2
In the natural, if we want something to come from the invisible into the physical, we have to apply the seed time and harvest principle.
Speaker 2
So here, what do I have?
Speaker 2
Corn, corn seeds.
Speaker 2
This side said they were seekers first, so I went over there.
Speaker 2
Well, come on. Where are the seekers over here?
Speaker 2
What do we have? Corn, corn seed?
Speaker 2
This is not corn.
Speaker 2
This is not corn seed. This is a picture of corn.
Speaker 2
See, many of us just have a picture of the blessing of God.
Speaker 2
Many of us just have a picture. We sing about the picture. We read about the picture. We take the picture home and try to eat the picture.
Speaker 2
But this picture is actually someone else's harvest.
Speaker 2
But this picture is telling us what will happen, what will come from the invisible if we sow the seed.
Speaker 2
It's giving us a picture of the potential.
Speaker 2
So, whenever we sow seed I got one in my pocket.
Speaker 2
Whenever we sow a corn seed there it is.
Speaker 2
It's already been sown. It went right into the altar.
Speaker 2
Thank you, sir. I'll take that too.
Speaker 2
Whenever we sow a corn seed, this one seed will produce two ears of corn that has seven fifty seeds on it. So, that's one seed that comes out with 1,500 seeds.
Speaker 2
This is God's plan for keeping the earth alive, even in the natural sense.
Speaker 2
Then we see this. Jesus takes this, this seedtime and harvest principle, and He gives it a supernatural application.
Speaker 2
He does this in Mark four. You heard about this a few weeks ago.
Speaker 2
In Mark four, He says, The kingdom of heaven is like.
Speaker 2
The kingdom of heaven is like a man sowing seed.
Speaker 2
Some falls in good ground, some falls in bad ground. What falls in good ground is going to come back 30, 60, 100 fold.
Speaker 2
Then the disciples say, well, what what are you talking about? What does this parable mean?
Speaker 2
And Jesus said, if you don't understand this parable, how will you understand anything having to do with the kingdom? So, seed time and harvest is foundational to understanding how the kingdom of heaven operates.
Speaker 2
It's not just natural, it is also involving the kingdom, the supernatural, the invisible realm.
Speaker 2
Jesus says His Word is the seed. The sower sows the Word.
Speaker 2
So, the Word of God has seed time and harvest power.
Speaker 2
So, I can open this up, and if I have a problem... See, this is how we operate most of the time. We have a problem, and we immediately want God to give us a tree.
Speaker 2
But God doesn't operate like that. He gives us a seed. And the tree is in the seed.
Speaker 2
Right? So, if I have a problem, if I have sickness in my body, I can get a seed from the Word that says if that same spirit that rose Christ from the dead dwells in me, it will give life to my mortal body. I can water that seed, and it will produce fruit in my life and fruit that will remain.
Speaker 2
But here's the thing, it has to be activated.
Speaker 2
Just like this corn seed, where if I just leave it here and come back in twenty years, do you think we'll have any corn seed? Do you think we'll have any corn plants? No, it requires our participation.
Speaker 2
The same thing is true with the Word of God.
Speaker 2
That if we just leave it alone, we never read it, we never speak it, we never preach it.
Speaker 2
Will anyone be saved if no one gets involved and reads the word and sows it into their atmosphere? See, the Bible is full of pictures.
Speaker 2
Pictures of what's possible. The blessing of Abraham, the wisdom of Solomon.
Speaker 2
All of these things are available in seed form.
Speaker 2
Oh.
Speaker 2
I'm running out of time.
Speaker 2
I'm running out of time.
Speaker 2
This is too good. I'm going to take another moment.
Speaker 2
He said all I want. Doors are not locked. Yet.
Speaker 2
See, every miracle I'm about to say something wild, so get ready. Get ready to put your shocked face on.
Speaker 2
Every miracle, every breakthrough that you have access to came through a seed.
Speaker 2
The gospel is a seed.
Speaker 2
First Peter chapter one verse 23 says, we have been born again by the incorruptible seed.
Speaker 2
Not of corruptible seed, but by the incorruptible seed through the word of God.
Speaker 2
The Bible says the gospel is the power unto salvation.
Speaker 2
That means everything that is required, everything that comes from salvation is already there in the seed.
Speaker 2
And the seed is Jesus.
Speaker 2
You know that God wanted a family, so He sowed His son.
Speaker 2
Right?
Speaker 2
You know that Jesus was crucified in a garden, that He was buried in a garden, that when He came out, Mary said, oh, I thought you were the gardener.
Speaker 2
Why do we keep hearing about a garden? Because that's what has everything to do with the seed.
Speaker 2
Jesus was a seed that was sown, and the fruit of that salvation we see all through Scripture. Let me take a moment on the cross. I love this.
Speaker 2
Anything that we... Anything that could destroy you was destroyed on the cross.
Speaker 2
Sin and death was conquered at the cross.
Speaker 2
Right? The Bible says that he who knew no sin became sin, that you and I might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
Speaker 2
Now, we have by grace that's made available to us, and then it's by faith that we take a hold of it.
Speaker 2
And then we live a life that honors God. If we're going to experience the fullness of the kingdom reality in our life, We have to live in a way that honors His Word, that honors His Spirit when He speaks to us. The Bible also says that on the cross, God took care of sickness and disease.
Speaker 2
By His stripes, we were healed.
Speaker 2
Romans eight eleven, that same Spirit that rose Christ from the dead dwells in us and gives life to our mortal bodies.
Speaker 2
Jesus gives us a snapshot of that new creation reality after He resurrects.
Speaker 2
I love this. After Jesus is resurrected, He appears to the disciples, and He tells Thomas to put his hand into his side.
Speaker 2
He says, put your hand into the holes that are in my hand.
Speaker 2
Now hold on. Think about this with me.
Speaker 2
Because Jesus is giving us a picture of a new creation reality.
Speaker 2
See, if we had a hole in our body, there would be blood pouring out. Right?
Speaker 2
But Jesus has a hole, but there's no blood.
Speaker 2
Because Jesus was not resurrected by flesh and blood, but by the spirit of the living God. And so are you.
Speaker 2
That's why you have a greater report than what the doctor says about your blood work.
Speaker 2
I'm not kept alive by the doctor's report on my blood work. I'm kept alive by the spirit of the living God.
Speaker 2
Now, for us to walk in the fullness of health and healing, we have to honor our bodies.
Speaker 2
God gave us this body. We have to honor it. We can't just eat Krispy Kremes every day, morning, noon, night, and expect to walk in the fullness that God has made available to us.
Speaker 2
No. We have to be good stewards of it, Good stewards of our salvation. Good stewards of our body.
Speaker 2
The Bible also says that on the cross, Jesus took care of the destruction of poverty.
Speaker 2
See, Proverbs chapter 10 verse 15 says the destruction of the poor is their poverty.
Speaker 2
So, if poverty destroys, it had to be dealt with at the cross.
Speaker 2
The Bible says in second Corinthians eight nine, for you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, that you by his poverty might become rich.
Speaker 2
So, took care of that. He's made it available.
Speaker 2
The way that we pull that into our lives is through a place of honor. That's the umbrella.
Speaker 2
And then it's through sowing that seed.
Speaker 2
We receive the seed of the Gospel.
Speaker 2
We receive the seed of the Word.
Speaker 2
And we honor also with the seed of our offering.
Speaker 2
Are you still here? Yes.
Speaker 2
Are you catching this? Yes.
Speaker 2
I'm way off the notes. I'm way off the notes, y'all.
Speaker 2
Glory be to God. Amen.
Speaker 2
Let's go a little bit further with this.
Speaker 2
Thank you, Jesus. So Jesus says that our seed, that our word, His word, has seed time and harvest power.
Speaker 2
But we have to sow that word. And that's where He says that we have the power of life and death in our mouth. We have to be so careful with what we're speaking.
Speaker 2
And when it comes to honor, that we're speaking well of our pastors.
Speaker 2
That we're speaking well of what's going on because your words can either unite or divide.
Speaker 2
Your words have seed time and harvest power.
Speaker 2
But when you speak the Word of God, you are literally planting the heavens into a situation.
Speaker 2
Alright, let's go a little bit further. The Bible also tells us... Let me give you an example here of the power of the word. Look at Luke chapter seven verse six.
Speaker 2
It says, Then Jesus went with them.
Speaker 2
This is about the centurion and his sick servant. And when he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him saying, Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy that you should come under my roof.
Speaker 2
Notice, he's already in a position of honor.
Speaker 2
He's saying, look, I understand how protocol works.
Speaker 2
Then he says, just say a word.
Speaker 2
Just say a word, and my servant will be healed. And when Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed him, I say to you, I have not found such great faith in all of Israel.
Speaker 2
And those who were sent returning to the house found the servant well who had been sick.
Speaker 2
God cares about our words, and it's even a word right there that was igniting a miracle.
Speaker 2
That centurion wasn't just saying something that he thought was a good idea, but he knew the Word of God.
Speaker 2
And the Word of God says in Psalm 107 verse 20, He sent His Word, and He healed them.
Speaker 2
So, He spoke the Word to the Word, and fruit abounded to His words.
Speaker 2
You catching this? Why does God care so much about our words?
Speaker 2
Well, the Bible tells us that it's out of our heart, out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
Speaker 2
Which leads me to the next thing that's in our heart.
Speaker 2
What we do with our finances is showing what's going on in our heart.
Speaker 2
Luke twelve thirty four is a scripture that I think most believers don't think that the enemy has ever heard.
Speaker 2
Luke twelve thirty four says, where your treasure is, that's where your heart will be.
Speaker 2
We know that.
Speaker 2
Jesus knows it. He said it. But we pretend like the enemy has never heard that verse.
Speaker 2
But the enemy knows if he can keep you from putting seed in the ground, if he can keep you from putting your treasure into the things of the kingdom, he can limit your level of intimacy with God.
Speaker 2
He said, Jason, how can you say that? See,
Speaker 2
He can limit your level of intimacy with God.
Speaker 2
Luke sixteen eleven. It's another verse we think the enemy's never heard.
Speaker 2
It says, if you are unfaithful with worldly riches, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? So every time there's an offering, all of the spirit realm is watching. Because what you do at offering time determines your level of capacity to grow in stewardship. See, we are called to steward much more than money.
Speaker 2
Money is just God's management training program.
Speaker 2
We are called to be stewards of the mysteries of God, stewards of the manifold grace of God.
Speaker 2
Not just the money. The money just lets God know that we're qualified and that we're obedient with what He's given us.
Speaker 2
Are you catching this?
Speaker 2
I'll give you another scripture, and then I'm about to about to close.
Speaker 2
A few more scriptures, though.
Speaker 2
See, there's something about the seed of the word and the seed of the offering when they come together.
Speaker 2
And Paul talks about this in Philippians four seventeen.
Speaker 2
This is in a donor letter. He's writing to people that have given to him.
Speaker 2
And he says, it's not that I desire your offering.
Speaker 2
It's not that I desire your gift.
Speaker 2
But I desire the fruit that will abound to your account.
Speaker 2
So, I always looked at that as we have a heavenly account, and then we have Wells Fargo or Chase, Bank of America. We have our earthly account.
Speaker 2
And that's true, but that's not what that verse is talking about.
Speaker 2
That word account that is used in Philippians four seventeen is the word logos.
Speaker 2
He says, it's not that I just desire your offering, but I desire the fruit that will abound to your words.
Speaker 2
That word account is like a courtroom word. Give me an account for where you were last night.
Speaker 2
It means give me your word on where you were.
Speaker 2
So he's saying there is something that happens when we put our words with the offering, and the offering with the Word. There's an explosive release of harvest. And that's what Jesus is. Jesus is the Word made flesh. He's the seed of the Word, and He is the offering.
Speaker 2
He's both of those things, and that's why His harvest cannot be denied.
Speaker 2
Are you catching this? Let's go back to the picture.
Speaker 2
This is the picture.
Speaker 2
This is the product.
Speaker 2
How do we get from the picture to the product?
Speaker 2
By sowing seed.
Speaker 2
What do we need to sow seed?
Speaker 2
We need soil
Speaker 2
from the Marriott.
Speaker 2
Now, if we sow this seed, the word of God says if we give, it will be given back to us.
Speaker 2
The Bible says that if we give a little, we'll get a little. If we sow much, we'll get much.
Speaker 2
The Bible says in Galatians six:seven, God will not be mocked. Whatever you sow is what you will reap.
Speaker 2
Many of us are believing for something. We're believing for corn.
Speaker 2
And then we bring our seed, and then here's what we do. Are you all ready to sow it?
Speaker 2
Put it right here.
Speaker 2
How many of you think we're going to get some corn? So, just bringing your seed close to the kingdom is not going to produce a harvest.
Speaker 2
See, some of us are coming and going, but we're still struggling because we're not sowing.
Speaker 2
Okay, I know. Jason, I like the word. Let's speak to it, Right? I grew up in church. We speak to our problems.
Speaker 2
Ready?
Speaker 2
Bro.
Speaker 2
Bro.
Speaker 2
Could it be that we are always bringing before God our problems?
Speaker 2
And he has put seed in our pocket, and he said, what will you do with what I've already given to you? Wait
Speaker 2
a minute. I know, I know.
Speaker 2
If you can see it, you can have it. So, let's put the picture right by it. We'll put the product right by it. And then we got it on our vision board, right?
Speaker 2
How many of you think we're going to get corn?
Speaker 2
We've got to actually sow the seed.
Speaker 2
See, this is the thing about honor.
Speaker 2
Honor might just look like lip service, but at the end of the day, God says, will you honor Me with your substance?
Speaker 2
See, there's several ways to honor.
Speaker 2
We honor by listening.
Speaker 2
We honor by adjusting our lifestyle.
Speaker 2
Remember Ruth?
Speaker 2
She went and got cleaned up before she ever went before Boaz.
Speaker 2
She couldn't look like her yesterday moving into her tomorrow.
Speaker 2
Honor adjusts our behavior. Remember Joseph?
Speaker 2
He comes out of prison. He didn't go right out of prison right before Pharaoh. It says he went and shaved. He cleaned up. He put on their garb.
Speaker 2
Why?
Speaker 2
Because honor, it shows... It takes an adjustment in us. So we acknowledge, we listen, we adjust.
Speaker 2
And the Bible also says that we honor with our substance, that we literally put our money where our mouth is.
Speaker 2
Proverbs chapter three verse nine says, honor the Lord with your wealth.
Speaker 2
You say, well, Jason, that's God. We can honor God with our wealth.
Speaker 2
But pastor, but people, should we honor God?
Speaker 2
Should we honor them with our wealth? I'm glad you asked.
Speaker 2
Take a look at some Scriptures with me.
Speaker 2
Take a look at first Timothy chapter five verse seventeen and eighteen.
Speaker 2
Let the elders who rule be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.
Speaker 2
For the Scripture says, you shall not muzzle the ox while it treads out the grain, and the laborer is worthy of his wages.
Speaker 2
Now, we said Galatians six:seven earlier, whatever you sow is what you'll reap. But let's look at what the verse before that says.
Speaker 2
Galatians chapter six verse six.
Speaker 2
Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.
Speaker 2
Do not be deceived God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that will he reap.
Speaker 2
Are you catching this?
Speaker 2
God says, I want you to honor Me. I want you to honor your mother and father. And then He puts this in double honor for those that labor in the Word.
Speaker 2
See, anything that gives life, God wants you to honor.
Speaker 2
We honor God because He is the ultimate life giver.
Speaker 2
We honor our mother and father because they have given us life, at least in the physical form.
Speaker 2
And we honor our pastors because they are giving of their lives to see your life increase.
Speaker 2
Are you catching this? Are you catching this?
Speaker 2
The word of God is so clear that apart from honor, we're just giving lip service.
Speaker 2
But when we honor God, we have now created a channel to see that system invade our life, to see the kingdom invade our life.
Speaker 2
And when we put seed in the ground, it's a key that unlocks the door.
Speaker 2
Now, don't know what you might be believing for, but this is a good time to get involved with your miracle.
Speaker 2
As this church is moving into a new season, we are approaching Jubilee.
Speaker 2
Do you know what was interesting about Jubilee?
Speaker 2
On the fiftieth year, they would let everything rest, which means they would have to have double the amount of harvest in order to survive that jubilee year because they're letting all of the fields rest.
Speaker 2
So what we do right now has got an anointing on it that could produce double harvest throughout this next season of Jubilee.
Speaker 2
You might say, Jason, I have plenty of money. It's not about that. Whatever it might be, a restoration in your marriage, household salvation, seeing your children come to the fullness of Jesus.
Speaker 2
It might be the sickness in your body.
Speaker 2
It might be that you need miracle debt cancellation.
Speaker 2
Whatever it might be, God says, I've put a seed in your pocket for it.
Speaker 2
Because your seed is showing what's in your heart.
Speaker 2
And where your treasure is, that's where your heart is also.
Speaker 2
I've had these seeds in my Bible for five or six years now, and I still don't have a harvest.
Speaker 2
I've had these seeds in my Bible, and I've been through powerful worship services like we just had. And I still don't have a harvest.
Speaker 2
I have fallen out under the power of the Holy Ghost with these seeds in my Bible, and I still don't have a harvest.
Speaker 2
See, as long as these seeds are in my bible and not in the ground, they're not doing what they were created to do.
Speaker 2
God is the Lord of the harvest, but you are the Lord of the seed.
Speaker 2
You decide if it's ever sown.
Speaker 2
Have you learned anything? I've simply tried to put Scripture upon Scripture upon Scripture to show you that God has chosen certain systems and ways of operating in the earth.
Speaker 2
And for us to get the kingdom kind of results, we have to operate in the kingdom kind of system.
Speaker 2
And he operates according to seed time and harvest.
Speaker 2
And honor is a great way to release a blessing in your life.
Speaker 2
Alright. I can keep going.
Speaker 2
We we have a tremendous opportunity before us where we are going to honor pastor Sean and pastor Aaron.
Speaker 2
I would encourage you with this.
Speaker 2
What you do now will determine the honor that comes into your life because whatever you give, it will be given back to And what you cause to happen to someone else, God will cause that same thing to happen to you. Ephesians six eight. So this is an opportunity for us to move into increase.
Speaker 2
This is an opportunity for us to see heaven invade earth.
Speaker 2
Are you catching this?
Speaker 2
Have you learned anything? Would you stand with me?
Speaker 2
Glory be to God.
Speaker 2
Glory be to God.
Speaker 2
I'm gonna say a prayer over you, and then I'm gonna have brother Kevin and Anita come.
Speaker 2
Annette come.
Speaker 2
Let's pray together.
Speaker 2
Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your spirit.
Speaker 2
God, we thank you for honoring us with your presence for being here.
Speaker 2
God, we thank you for the truth of the seed of your word. I pray that it would bear fruit in our lives and fruit that will remain.
Speaker 2
And God, as now we have this moment where we can sow into the people who have laid down their lives faithfully for us throughout the years.
Speaker 2
God, I pray that this seed would have supernatural harvest power to it, that it would be an accelerated harvest, that it would come quickly in Jesus' name. And God, I thank you that we do this in faith, believing that we have received and we will receive.
Speaker 2
In the mighty name of Jesus.
Speaker 1
